Lexus has taken the automotive industry by storm with its recent reveal of the upcoming GX and all-new TX Series. You'll notice a major upgrade from the previous generation with a square-body profile featuring a horizontal design motif. This next-generation SUV boasts a bold design with its wide body, increased wheelbase, and big ol' 33-inch tires. The front grille and triple-beam LED headlamps give this beast a powerful presence that demands attention. We’re sure it will feel like you can conquer any terrain while behind the wheel.
The GX seems to be packed with solid features, offering an increased wheelbase of 2.36 inches and larger 33-inch tires with 18-inch wheels on the OVERTRAIL model, for optimal off-road performance. The A-pillar has been pulled back for enhanced visibility in addition to the lower beltline and improved ground clearance. Another great addition is the pop-out rear window, which Lexus says was based on customer feedback!
From what we’ve seen so far, the new GX is going to be quite the off-road package. With its impressive off-road features and luxury interior, this vehicle might be a game-changer for those who love off-roading. Are you considering it as your next off-road ride? What should we design for the 550? We want to hear your thoughts! Join the conversation and leave a comment below.
