Description

Ditch Light Brackets give you the ability to run aftermarket LED light pods on the hood  of your Tundra or Sequoia. They attach to the hood hinge bracket with minimal trimming to plastic and no drilling necessary. The design provides a clean profile in a non-invasive location for driver visibility. Every bracket is CAD designed, CNC cut, and made in the USA. They are sandblasted then powder coated black to withstand harsh weather conditions. The brackets are sold in pairs and do not interfere with the hood function.

*** Please Note - Trimming of the windshield wiper cowling is required for proper fitment.

Worked great with my budget Amazon lights. Niilights or whatever they are called. Happy with the brackets. Solid. The installer trimmed way too much of the plastic on the hood. That’s not them brackets fault. It could be done w less chopping.

For those looking to buy these, there's significant cowl trimming necessary in multiple places, due to the excessive bracket thickness. My brackets even hit the sheet metal under the cowl. Had to dremel the brackets....after dremeling the cowl. The oem bolts lose several threads, which may alarm some. I wouldn't buy this part if I knew how much trimming was necessary, but once I got started..... I kept going. I called Rago and their support was very poor, stating, "I don't know - it's old." They could answer nothing and told me to try and put the bracket between the hood and tundra hinge. They were guessing because they didn't know. If you look at the pics on this site, you'll realize that most hoods no longer sit flush with the fender. They didn't remove enough plastic cowl. It hits in multiple places - trust me. If you want a clean result, it takes time. I completely removed the cowl to do the 2nd side, and clean up the cuts. Buyer beware - a new cowl is near $300.

Perfect

Perfect for the Job. Made in America which is a rare plus. Yes you will do some trimming on the cowl. Don’t be afraid just do it.

David,
Thanks so much for the support and feedback!
