The Rago Fabrication Toyota Tacoma Bed Stiffeners solve a known problem that Tacoma's acquire over time. If you have a camper shell, bed rack, or use your Tacoma to off-road frequently, the rear sheet metal channels are known to crack over time because of added stress and weight to the vehicle. Our bed stiffeners will strengthen the bed of your truck and do not interfere with your stock bed mat.

Our brackets mount on the bottom using existing bolt holes and to the side of the bed with (3) 1/2" bolts which requires drilling. The brackets come finished in a hammer black powder coat for durability and resistance to weather. The installation is easily completed within a half an hour. These fit 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Generation Tacomas across all trims levels.

These mounts are NOT compatible with bed extenders.

Modification may be required if you have a plastic bed liner.

Please Note: During installation it's important to use a Step Bit (Unibit) to prevent cracking, rather than a regular Drill Bit.

Worked perfectly on a 2023 TRD Pro with Decked

Easy install. Took about a hour for an average level handy dude. Perfect fit. Doesn’t interfere with a Decked single drawer system. Decked can remain in place while you install these bed stiffeners. Very beefy. These brackets will survive much longer than the truck. Included extra bolts which is nice to make darn sure you have plenty. Quality hardware. 100% satisfied. Now my truck is ready to go for a Topo Toppers Ricon truck bed camper I’m getting installed next week.

I purchased because of the low profile look. Most I've seen are bulky looking. Seems well made. Haven't put on yet. Waiting for the weather to break.

Gen 3 Bed Stiffeners

Getting ready for a camper shell install. Went with the Rago stiffeners after considering several brands. Liked the idea of stainless steel, and thought the design might accommodate my BedRug a bit easier than some. Parts were delivered in just a few days. Well made, well finished, quality hardware and straightforward installation. A couple slices in the BedRug and all in all, I think it worked out well. Thanks to Rago Fab.

Very nice part, minimal intrusion into the bed and the best part is that the entire thing and all the hardware are Stainless Steel !!! So no rust in the bed.
